Sustainability
DaiEi Papers (USA) Corp. supports customers seeking renewable, recyclable, FSC-certified, recycled-content, and responsibly sourced paper-based materials.
Responsible Sourcing for a Fiber-Based Future
As the U.S. subsidiary of KPP Group, DaiEi is part of a global organization with a long-standing commitment to sustainability, recycling-oriented business practices, responsible corporate conduct, and the creation of environmental value through its worldwide paper, packaging, pulp, and recovered fiber activities.
Through our supplier network and the broader KPP Group platform, we help customers evaluate paper and packaging options that balance performance, cost, availability, recycled content, certification, logistics, and end-use requirements.
Our Sustainability Approach
Paper and packaging are central to the transition toward more renewable, recyclable, and fiber-based material solutions. DaiEi Papers works with customers and suppliers to support practical sourcing strategies that reflect both commercial realities and sustainability objectives.
Our approach focuses on responsible sourcing, supply-chain transparency, recycled fiber utilization, FSC-certified paper options, recyclable packaging, and the development of paper-based alternatives for applications where customers are seeking to reduce reliance on plastic or non-renewable materials.
We understand that sustainability is not a single specification. It requires evaluating the full product context: fiber source, recycled content, certification, manufacturing location, transportation, converting performance, regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and the practical realities of end-use recovery or recycling.
Supported by the KPP Group Network
KPP Group’s sustainability policy is based on contributing to a sustainable society through recycling-oriented management and addressing environmental, social, and governance priorities across its business activities.
As part of this global network, DaiEi Papers connects North American customers with paper, paperboard, pulp, recovered paper, packaging, and specialty materials sourced through established international supplier relationships.
This global reach allows DaiEi to support customers looking for diversified sourcing, responsible supply options, recycled-content products, FSC-certified grades when available, and fiber-based packaging solutions aligned with evolving market expectations.
Renewable Fiber
Paper is made from renewable fiber resources and remains one of the most important material platforms for recyclable packaging, communication, hygiene, and consumer applications.
DaiEi Papers supports customers seeking paper-based solutions made from responsibly managed virgin fiber, recycled fiber, or a combination of both, depending on the technical and commercial needs of each application.
Recycled Content
Recycled fiber plays an important role in the circular paper economy.
DaiEi Papers sources recovered paper and recycled-content products used in containerboard, paperboard, tissue, packaging papers, molded fiber, publication papers, and specialty applications. We help customers evaluate recycled-content options based on performance, availability, consistency, certification requirements, and end-use suitability.
Certified Sourcing
Many customers require paper and packaging products supported by recognized responsible forestry and chain-of-custody certification programs.
DaiEi Papers (USA) Corp. is FSC certified and supports customers seeking FSC-certified paper, paperboard, pulp, recovered fiber, and packaging materials when available from qualified suppliers.
Certification requirements vary by product, supplier, country of origin, and customer application. We work with customers to confirm the appropriate certification status, documentation, and supply options for each program.
DaiEi Papers is also evaluating additional certification programs, including SFI and PEFC, as part of our ongoing effort to expand responsible sourcing options for customers.
Recyclable Packaging
Fiber-based packaging continues to play a major role in retail, e-commerce, food, industrial, and consumer goods supply chains.
DaiEi Papers sources paper and paperboard grades used in corrugated packaging, folding cartons, bags, mailers, multiwall sacks, wraps, labels, void fill, and other packaging formats designed to meet performance and recyclability objectives.
We help customers evaluate materials based on strength, printability, converting performance, recycled content, certification, packaging design, and end-of-life considerations.
Plastic Replacement
Many brands and retailers are seeking practical paper-based alternatives to reduce plastic usage in selected packaging applications.
DaiEi Papers supports customers evaluating paper bags, kraft mailers, paper wraps, molded fiber, paperboard packaging, paper void fill, recyclable paper-based structures, and other fiber-based packaging options.
Not every application can be replaced by paper alone, and each project requires careful review of barrier needs, strength requirements, moisture exposure, shelf life, logistics, and cost. Our role is to help customers identify realistic options that meet both performance and sustainability goals.
Responsible Supply Chains
Responsible sourcing requires more than product selection. It also depends on supplier qualification, documentation, logistics, continuity of supply, and compliance with customer requirements.
Through the KPP Group network, DaiEi Papers helps customers access a broader global supply base while supporting responsible business practices, proper documentation, and long-term supplier relationships.
We work with customers and suppliers to support practical, commercially sound sourcing programs that reflect today’s sustainability, compliance, and supply-chain expectations.
